Blogging in an Arab country

I'm not trying to make excuses with this post about why it took me so long to get my BLOG started. I just want you to see what I'm dealing with when I get on the internet to post things.

As you see here, just about everything is in Arabic. It makes things difficult, but not impossible. Thanks to my wonderful wife we got it sorted out. She would be logged into her BLOG and describe to me over the phone what all the tabs said on each of the pages. I took notes and then fumbled through with trial and error. Basically everything is default settings because I have only ventured to learn the necessities of creating posts. Just in case you thought I chose the background with the pretty little birds flying, I didn't.

I will try to get at least one more post in the next two days. I am still months behind, but intend to keep bringing you all up to speed until the info is recent. I won't be making any posts for a few weeks. Look for more in April.

  1. AH! just wrote a comment but can't figure out how to post it and i think it is lost in blog land. Let's try again.. Barrett, so glad you started this blog. It has been interesting to see what you have been up to for the last six months. You need to encourage your wife to be as good as a blogger as you. :) travel safely home, look forward to seeing you. Holly
